The heart of home life…
The kitchen is modest in size but has its own dedicated hot water boiler as well as a dual fuel cooker, toaster and kettle. All the important kitchenware is easily at hand as well as separate bins for recycling.
Where conversations never end…
The living room leads into the kitchen and dining area in an open plan and is a place of endless conversation. It has an atmosphere all of its own as well as beautiful lighting in the day and a warm cosiness at night.
Wash with water from our own spring…
The bathroom used to be the hall to the millhouse, but now forms a small but effective area with shower/bath, WC, bidet and basin.
A space for sweet dreams…
The upper bedrooms are full of light, space and rustic charm. Bedroom 1 has double-glazed windows for a quieter sleep at night but otherwise give out onto the Ardo river and all its musical sound. It has a newer king size bed and one extra single bed suitable for a young child.
Made with artistic love…
Bedroom 2 is also full of light and unique character. An original screen-printed wall hanging adorns the far wall and the chest of drawers is lovingly hand-painted.
Sleep tight, or play the piano!
The lower bedroom is also a study area with desk, bookcase and even a digital piano! It has two single beds, double glazed windows that give out to the river, and a chest of drawers and bedside table for storage. It’s also where all the maps and board games can be found.
