The Venetian cities of the Belluno Valley are jewels in their own right. Belluno is quietly majestic and rises above the Piave river to offer a centre of refined culture and commerce for the whole province. Feltre, at the opposite end of the valley, is more unassuming and yet hides endless treasures of historic and cultural interest. A visit to both is a must, and if that doesn’t suffice, the great cities of Vicenza, Padua and Venice itself await in the planes below.

The Italian Dolomites are renowned the world over for their stunning beauty. Somehow the mountain formations speak a language all of their own, and is poetry. Whether it is a trip up to Passo Giao, or a stay up in Rifugio Venezia, or even attempting to scale Monte Pelmo, multiple visits are on everyone’s itinerary when staying at Molino Cis.

Water attracts as much in the mountains as it might by the sea. Needless to say, both the Dolomites and the PreAlpi mountains preceding them offer wonderful opportunities for enjoying the water, whether it be for a fresh swim, boating, kayaking, wind-surfing or more still. Both natural lakes and man-made reservoirs can be found within an hour’s drive from Molino Cis.
