Belluno Dolomites National Park
The Dolomites are renowned for their stunning rocky peaks and beautiful valleys.
A Different kind of holiday…
“ Molino Cis looks up to the great Dolomite mountains from a valley all of its own ”
The Roberts family discovered Molino Cis in 1985. Nestled in the Ardo valley between Belluno and Feltre, Molino Cis had been the maize and wheat mill for the Casteldardo estate and the wider community in nearby Trichiana. Abandoned at the time, the Roberts family purchased the property and, over the decades to come, lovingly restored the farmhouse to create a unique family home.
What does Molino Cis have to offer?
Molino Cis isn’t just a base to go exploring the Dolomite mountains or visit the Venetian cities of the Belluno valley, it’s a holiday destination in its own right offering a place of enchanting beauty and simplicity.

While the hours away…
“On those hot summer days you just don’t want to go anywhere else”
Yes, there are the ice cold pools up in the Dolomites. Yes, there are the lazy afternoons spent drinking in the cafés in Piazza dei Martiri. But so often in summer the pull of Molino Cis just keeps you there. A morning walk in the fields and woods above, a swim in the Ardo, lunch out under the pergola, a siesta in its harmonious bedrooms, another afternoon swim and then aperitivi in front of the setting sun as the evening’s barbecue takes hold. Who needs more?
Coming for a swim? Go on!
Each year the river Ardo forms a variety of different pools. Some go right down to the bedrock. Those are the ones deep enough to swim in, but you have to go searching for them!
